This coarse fish-only fishery is carefully stocked and nurtured by the Fife Coarse Anglers Fishing Club,
and is reckoned to be one of the finest of its type in Scotland. Given that Fife is close to the northern
limit of many coarse species, they have performed a minor miracle here.
Unlike many of the Fife coarse fisheries, this one costs money to fish, but the quality of the fishing
and the range of species (see below) definitely warrants the minimal cost.

The club insist on barbless hooks and a ban on keepnets (outwith competition) in order to safeguard the
health of their stock. Minor restrictions, but the quality of the fishing reflects the care lavished on
this fishery.
There are not many venues in Scotland where anglers can try their luck for tench, rudd and chub. If you
are a coarse fisherman, how can you possibly resist it?
