Sitting snuggled in beside the railway track, this stunning little water is home to some real quality perch, pike and
improving roach. Which is hardly surprising as it also contains water of a quality that would be the envy of any
chalkstream.
Slightly awkward to find, take the B981, between Ballingry and Lochgelly, to Lumphinnans.

Turn down Gurgarin Way, and park at the football pitches, and follow the dirt track down through the railway
bridge and you are there!
Although not big, Swan's Pond, has a peace and tranquility which belies its proximity to the railway line
and housing estate.
